I can still remember the first time I saw Lucas, Shopping at Home Depot with his Dad. His Dad (Scott) was a regular customer of mine at the Pro Desk, they would come in often, and I always noticed but Lucas and I never spoke.  Until one day when he walked by me in an orange apron, at that time I thought nice finally some Eye Candy at work =)  Not knowing at the time he would be so much more.

We got to know each other at a mutual training course we were taking at work. We were on a break and it pretty much started with me overhearing a conversation about Bass Fishing, and me inserting a sarcastic comment " You don't know anything about Bass Fishing"  We then got into a conversation on just that, and how I had fished growing up, and grew up in a household that was all about it.

  We soon became friends, and through taking frequent breaks together at work, found we had lots in common.  There was an ease to the conversation and a level of comfort, it came naturally.

A couple of months later we had our first date - A simple trip out to the beach with some food, drinks and a blanket (It was perfect).  Luke kissed me for the first time that night, I jumped in my car and shrieked =)

We fell in love quickly and were inseperable from the start. From the  first date and throughout the years our love for each other has continued to grow! We are each others best friend, and together we have been through so much. We couldn't even begin to imagine what life would be like without one another!
