Justin and I met through a mutual friend of ours, Ricky, who I was working with, he told me that I might be interested in meeting one of his really good friends, Justin, who was moving back to town. I was a little shy at first but I ended up speaking to Justin on the phone at work whenever he would call in for Ricky. I started speaking to him on the phone from August '02 to the beginning of Nov. '02. We had not met face to face yet, until finally, Justin decided to come over to my house on Nov. 3 '02. We hung out at my house pretending to watch a movie but we were both so nervous that we ended up not even paying attention to the movie at all. Eventually we decided to go eat something but it was already 2am or so. We ended up going to Carrows for our first date because it was the only thing open at that time! That is the story of how we met!!!

Well, most of you know by now that I had won this wedding just by chance. I went to the Wedding Expo on Jan. 17th, 2009 and I registered as a bride. I was actually going there for my good friend Alena who was getting married in Feb. 2009. Justin and I had been wanting to get married and we spoke about it the November before, we even looked at rings, but we realized that we wouldn't be able to afford the expenses at the time so we decided to wait. Well, when I registered at the Expo, I went to the Prize Cake Pull, which had hundreds and hundreds of ribbons to choose from. I pulled this lonely little ribbon from the front of the cake and handed it to the lady. She had me step to the side, and asked if I had anyone with me. I called my sister over because she was the only one there at the time and that is when they announced that I was the grand prize winner of the wedding for the Wells Fargo Center of the Arts. The date was set by the prize people, but the coincidental part about that is since it is the beginning of November, it is significant to us. The wedding is going to be on Nov. 6, 2009 at 5 in the afternoon and will be held at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa, Ca.

The adult reception will also be held at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa, Ca. The dress attire will be semi-formal, the colors that we chose for our wedding are Pepsi blue and gunmetal gray, and there is an Asian flare to the theme.

I would recommend staying at Extended Stay North on Mendocino Ave. You can find lower prices by booking through Priceline, Orbitz, Hotels.com, etc... There is the Fountain Grove Inn on Mendocino as well, and the Hilton all in the same area - although they are a little bit more expensive to stay in. These hotels are just right down the street from the Wells Fargo Center.
