Our Story

Our story began at a grocery store. We were co-workers at Ray's Food Place in Cloverdale where soon we would become friends, which evolved into the love that we share today. Jerrod was my manager, or so he thought, and I was a checker.
We moved into our first apartment together in 2006, and have been living in Santa Rosa now for 3 years.
Since living together, Jerrod had been feeling the pressure from family and friends (including me) to propose. He needed to find the perfect time for him, which I was willing to wait for. Right around our 5 year anniversary is when he decided it was a good time.
We had planned a 2 day get-away to San Francisco, a romantic/fun vacation of Giants games and a fancy hotel. As we were getting ready to leave for our trip he wanted to open our gifts for each other then, instead of later on. So at 10:00am I opened my present which was a scrapbook, and a page that he made saying, "Will You Marry Me?" and a ring tied to a ribbon. Totally unexpected and shocked, I screamed "OK!" over and over again. We cried, kissed, and hugged. It was the perfect start to our vacation, which had then turned into our 5 year anniversary/engagement trip.

Our Wedding

Our big day will be held on Sunday September 20, 2009 at 4:00pm at Hummingbird Gardens at the Mark West Lodge. We look forward to spending this special time with our family and friends.

We would like to thank everyone so much for spending our wedding day with us. Family and friends help build a persons personality and characteristics, and we are so greatful for the people in our lives.
